for teens. Founded in 1944,
Fenster has had a single
purpose - to provide an
environment in which
students can reach their
individual potential. Fenster Boarding School's
mission is to provide a
caring, disciplined
structure that will enable
students to:

To accomplish our mission,
we provide a daily structure
that encourages success and
does not give up on the
student. The backbone of our
structure comes from you,
the parent. Without your
support, we could not
achieve the educational
results that we all seek.
As a young man at UCLA, I
had the good fortune to play
basketball for one of the
legends in collegiate
American sports, John
Wooden. Aside from winning
ten National Championships -
more any coach at his level
- Coach Wooden's number one
priority was always
education.
How ironic that the ultimate
winner, Coach Wooden, had a
completely different view of
what success really meant.
In fact, Coach Wooden
thought the scoreboard could
never determine a winner or
loser. He defines success as
"peace of mind" which comes
from knowing you did your
best to become the best that
you are capable of becoming.
The Fenster's boarding
school staff believes the
structure we provide helps
our students begin the
journey of achieving their
best. We appreciate the
support that families give
us as we work hard to make
success for each student
happen.

Fenster
